a friend shared this video with me, in addition to several other ladies in her life, 

and i'd like to share it with you all. it's spot on. 

side note: it makes me want to focus my spoken words on god and not the things i've written about before. i think i might just do that, haven't written in a poem in ages. but i guess i can "stay in my bed...alone, and write poems, about how i'll wait for you."
