Why don't trees stretch out taller- reaching for the pale warmth of la luna?
Why doesn`t the sand float upwards to the mystical celestial body?
Then there's the Sea, the only one that lunges forward at the sight of even a crescent.
The wreckless sea:
he who drowns mere mortals
he who thrashes upon cities wiping everything away
he who spits out whales onto shores in fury
he who brings ships to it's depths for eternity
is weak & oh so helpless when facing the moon.
Love is a haphazardly curious thing.
