i ♥ the fifties.
never noticed it till now. the dancing, the style, the class, the fun, the music, the simpleness. but man oh man due i love the music. today i was singing away to Frank Sinatra (sadly i only have a few songs on my phone) and dancing like a fool. but his music makes me happy. Also been listening to "She & Him" although they're a band from our generation they have a lot of the old soul-filled swoon worthy melodies. and just yesterday i discovered Louis Prima and can't stop listening to him (along with miss Kelly Smith). you might recognize his voice from yesterday's post- yes that is him singing as "the jungle king" in the jungle book (did i mention i love the music in that movie?)
i want to hop into the 50's and swing dance, drink some shakes at an ice cream parlor, socialize at a soda shack and stroll around down.
