mmm i love music. especially international and instrumental. they just take my mind away to different place and help unlock the creative area in my mind. here are a couple favourites (international that is, instrumental is a whole other post) enjoy :)
from 500 days of summer, can't say how much i adore that movie and it's soundtrack (which i knew before the movie came out therefore making me love the movie more- except i found this song on it so wohooo)
i don't know what he's saying but it makes me feel happy. plus the video is cute
this just reminds me of costa rica so darn much. the name of the artist/band is a place in costa rica where i spent my birthday going from beach to beach. and i was there all april (which is abril in spanish). oh nostalgia sometimes you're torturous
this reminds me of my child hood and dancing with my mom, and now that i now that i understand what he's saying- gaaaah. this song is beautiful. i'd translate it. but that'd take too long
i find african music so happy and lively. and the way they dance just makes me go 'hoooooooooow?"
mmm this is a clip from one of my favourite foreign, musical, and bollywood films- saawriya. the film is so magical and beautiful and the lyrics to songs are so lovely. especially this one. so simple and so beautiful. now i really want to find my box of dvds and watch this movie
well i think that's enough internationl music for now cause i don't know how many i've posted. but all of this just makes me want to travel and see and feel the world and experience new cultures even more.
