a place to escape

photos i find inspiring for my future place, probably way in the future...but still i don't think i'd have all of these in my home or part of it, simply one would be grand. lately i've been dreaming of my future home, i don't know why, i just have been. and i noticed i really like the woodsy feel. i love big wooden panels on the ceiling, dark wooden floors or white ones. yet i also like bricks - like lofts. anywho here are some photos i'll pull some inspiration from later down the road when i get my own place.

i've always wanted an attic room, and a bed close to ground. although i know spiders enjoy attacks and i dispise them...i love the shape of the walls, it reminds me of a tepee. i don't know if i'd make this my room though...perhaps an art studio/chill/writing area to just escape into my own little world yenno?

this just makes me envious. big comfy leather chair, piles of books, and the serene forest wall paper. eek can i have this please? ever since watching beauty and the best (fav disney movie along with the little mermaid, the lion king, and Aladdin) i've always wanted a wall (or room) covered with books from floor to ceiling. and then i'd like to get the lady to glide from side to side like belle did. but this wallpaper. oh my goodness. it's like being in a forest all year round. no need to fret about spiders sneaking up on you. just endulge in a good book- which i need to do sometime soon.

this, this is just lovely. a little area to sit out in front of the garden. somewhat reminds me of the movie Marie Antoinette and her cottage home- which i always would love. seems like a wondrous place to go and escape to. hmm there's a theme here- i kinda want a place to escape the world from. not that i don't like the world cause i want to travel it and explore it. but i think i mean society, and people and just enjoy the outside from the inside kinda? i mean this place is perfection. you get the fresh breeze of air, the sounds of life in your garden, and a couch to sit on and drink tea or hot chocolate or whatever you wish to just enjoy it all. perfection. all i can say.

see a map, cause i want to venture off into the world and explore new continents. it be great if i could discover one but that's been done hah. i don't know where you find wallpaper like this, but i like it. i think i'd prefer it better if it had a vintage/old map feel to it instead. i don't know where i'd have this- maybe a study room? or room of all my travels. cause i will travel the world. i've had this dream since i was a youngin'
