mmm god is good.
i've been saying and thinking about that so much lately because he just continues to bless me and my family. the storm has passed and i'm glad to say that we have built our faith and life on solid foundation, and the result proves it. it's been a long couple of tough years, and now peace and blessings just pouring into our lives. so so thankful. why so? various reasons, i'll just list them in no particular order
1.) new place, just what we wanted- it feels like home. like we can welcome anyone to it
2.) mom's job that she's content with and continues to sell thousands of dollars each day (she's a fashion consultant downtown item prices are ridiculous and selling them is hard but she makes a sell everyday)
3.) new car paid in cash. my mom's first car that she has picked herself that has all that she wants, leather interior, standard, moonroof, heated seats, and a working radio- even more amazing the car originally didn't have leather interior or a moon roof, the previous owners (owned it for 4 months) put it all in. blessing i tell you. it's a car for her, not one that she just picked cause it runs well.
4.) relationship between me and mita (my mama') is improving.
5.) the people he's simply placed in my life are just amazing and full of his love, and create such a great and healthy environment.
6.) his trust in me, trusting that the words i speak influence the actions and thoughts in young girls every tuesday night, although intimidating and overwhelming at times it's also the best feeling, knowing that i can help shape someone's future, and being there when the need someone to talk to about the problems in their life, someone that will listen and not judge them. it's just so ahhh great. a huge responsiblity but an even greater blessing cause it's helping me in my growth not only as an individual, but as a leader & follower for/of him.
there's probably several other points, that i can go on and on about, cause at this moment i'm just feeling so thankful for everything.

and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul."
