"they're all gabbi's"

so since i had applied for emily carr i'd say monday-ish, the only thing left to do was to hand in my transcripts. thank goodness i called the school cause it took a day to pick them up and i had to pay 5 bucks for each transcript, which meant i had to wait to get my paycheque (yeah i had no mula in my account cause of rent + my new cell). anywho i went back to good ol'highschool to pick everything up (diploma, passport to education, and the transcripts) saw my favourtie teacher and spoke to him for a bit, it was nice. then i headed off to granville to drop off my transcripts at emily carr. it was swell. everytime i go there i feel so at home and just want to linger there forever. and when i entered the building oh the atmosphere was perfect, you could feel the creativity coming out of every student as the spoke to one another and just enjoyed each others company. when we walked out my mama kept holding on to my arm and kept saying "it's so perfect there gabbi. i'm glad you took me to your school today" and she could not keep that smile off her face, i turned to her and said "yeah i know and they're all like me! they're my people...i belong" and she replied "YES! i know i was gonna say that!! the moment i walked in i though 'they're a whole bunch of gabbi's in here'!" oh shoot i can't wait to start school, now i just gotta finish up that portfolio, and then simply wait for the news (it's gonna seem like eternity). i pray that it's super super amazingly great news like "dear gabriela, we are pleased to say you have been accepted into emily carr" that would be just superb.

and looks like the place to move into is working all well, it becomes available in may.
hopefully i'm ready to start living without my ma'. like i said before, better leave on my own terms on good conditions then peace it when it's on rocky ground yenno. but i for sure can't wait. so nervous.

life is looking pretty darn good i'd say :)
