not a drug junkie, a concert junkie you crazy kid.
for serious. i just love music, i love small obscure lounges/venues, and interesting crowds of people. so far there hasn't been a concert i have attended that i didn't enjoy. i feel as though each concert gets better and better- last concert i touch donlad glover's hand. that's how you get things done hah. anyways i feel like i haven't been to a concert in ages im honestly having a withdrawel- especially after giving my Kings Of Leon ticket away to one of my close friends thanks to the job... it's like the universe does not want me to attend a KOL concert. UNIVERSE YOU CAN SUUUUUUUUUUCK IT- i'll attend one of their concerts you just watch me.
anywho since i've been listening to music all night, i shall hit the sack soon, i decided i'd list on the concerts i have attended (list from most recent to long long ago)
- Childish Gambino = awesome, i mean i wrote a blog about it's greatness
- lykke li = magic, had fun people watching- people and their dance moves is swell
- Matt & Kim = best night out with friends, hype energy. it was simply a party
- Vampire Weekend = also magic, stars, field, just everything was beautiful
- Stornoway/ sea of beas (opening band that i fell in love with) = fun, canucks just won of of the final games for the stanley's so the atmosphere in the city was crazy and then we entered the media room and it was all low lit and chill as if we entered another world
- Kina Grannis = pretty sweet, first time nicky and i went to a 19+ concert had some drinks and just chillaxed
- One Republic = they are amazing live! the transitions were beautiful. but im not a fan of sitting in a seat all night it's like watching a movie (stood up later on)
- Cobra Starship (back when they weren't complete crud like they are now)= first concert experience full of the sweat, elbowing to get to the front, and shouting once the concert was over
all of these concerts were different: from outdoor magic underneath a starry night surrounded by tall trees, to rickety movie scene red lit rocker vibes, cool lounge low lit venues, ballroom with 3 bars and plenty of room and tables to do as you wish, cramped up venues where sweat is just shared, and the typical stage and seating (which i wasn't a fan off but second row made it worth it).
up next on the list
Noah & the Whale and Childish Gambino when he returns.
