ramble jamble

I miss school.
Go ahead, i give you full permission to call me strange, surreal, odd, a wierdo, a wacko, a nut, whatever names come to your mind when i say that i miss school. Or better yet, I love school. I always have. The only times i hated school, in elementry or high school, were the rare occasions when i didn't get along with a teacher or despised one because they were complete schmucks- and by schmucks i mean they should not be teaching if they're just going to do a vocab test every day (and they go in order where all you have to do is memorize those five words the night before or write them out on a note like my whole class did). Or the ones that play half of the first season of lost after that vocab test...what that has to do with English still puzzles me. but before i go off on a rant about teachers i wanted to get fired (yes i am that passionate about my education) i'll continue with my love for a word most teenagers to post-secondary students dread. SCHOOL. SCHOOL.SCHOOL. ESCUELA fools. I love putting my brain to use and learning new things, and i`ll gladly put our great education system to good use. i mean so may places in our world lack the finances to build a decent school, the location of set school is too far for the students to commute to that they just end up working instead, or the education system just blows and the teachers are not passionate about teaching. i live in Canada and i`d say we have a grandtacular education system and i will be joining it later in the near future. i suppose that is another reason i adore school, i want to become a teacher or professor. i best like school if i`ll spend a great deal of my life in it. Let`s just say i strongly believe in education, just the idea of learning something new or gaining a new skill is brilliant. i`m not saying one should spend a large sum of money just to go to school, it`s not for everyone. im an advocate of simply doing what you love and loving what you do. if you`re going to school to make your parents content or not going to school to tick them off then you my friend are being ridiculous. don`t take accounting cause it`s a steady job if it makes you misarble, don`t take business cause you want lots of dough cause that eventually won`t make you truly happy. don`t take psych just because you need credits to graduate. take what you`d enjoy, do what you want not what others want you to. you`ll never be happy with yourself if you try to please others. they`re living their life, they`ve made their own mistakes: live your own life.

okaaay went off on a tangent, but i warned you with the title `ramble jamble`. this is me rambling. anywhoooo. i want to be back in Uni taking as many painting, drawing, and writing courses as possible. i don`t want to be working in a factory when the leaves go ablaze in golds, oranges, and reds. i want to be layered in knitted sweaters and eternity scarfs stomping around campus in boots or lugging giant pads of paper on the bus. fall is a season of wonder and newness. to me i`ve started my new years in September rather than January. this year i`m starting it in a plastic factory while others get their education on; some loving it and others complaining. *sigh* i`ll just have to be patient and wait until january, pleaaaase come fast i feel as though my brain is withering away slowly. it`s scientifically proven that if you don`t do something new everyday your neurons die. looks like i have to get me some ``how to`` books before my brain becomes mush like baby food.

PLUS SIDE. I have my own room and it is spotless. i did a thorough clean the past two weeks and there is no bit of garbage in my room. i tossed all the little meaningless things i`ve hoarded for years and finally cleaned  my desk. I NOW HAVE ROOM TO PAINT, DOODLE, SKETCH. whatever i please. and i am elated to say i will be unleashing my creativity next monday. good thing about working in such an easy place away from distractions is my mind has been on the go like a machine with all these ideas for little series that i can`t wait to start. my goal is to paint or draw daily for at least an hour until i start school. the only way to improve my skill is if i practice it daily.
